Regional Open Mic List

Developing a community of writers, musicians, storytellers, comedians and musicians helps to make a vibrant and lively exchange of ideas and aesthetics that showcase the many different artistic flavors of the Chicago-Milwaukee region. To that end, The Poetry Movement aims to keep an updated list of open mic venues for those interested in maintaining and broadening the traffic of ideas and art in the third largest economic region of the United States. If you host a poetry-friendly open mic in Racine or Kenosha County, Milwaukee, Chicago, or anywhere in between, please email the details of your event to poetrymovementworkshops@gmail.com, including the day, start and end time, address and name of location, title of the event and host's name, as well as any other information you would like to provide. If details about the event change or the set gets cancelled, please send a follow-up email.
